Bomb Girls

Hello everyone! Sorry I have not updated in awhile, I was busy writing final this past week and now I am finally done. Today I am showing you some stills from the television show Bomb Girls.

It is set in the 1940's and is about a group of girls working in a munitions factory. It is set in Ontario, Canada which is quite exciting I find haha, and it is a Canadian made show. The costumes in this are absolutely beautiful and are quite authentic. Here are some stills from the second season that I really like.

If you are generally interested in the 1940's, I really suggest you watch this. Along with great costumes, it also has an interesting plot and quite a few funny moments.

What shows set in the past do you watch?

  1. Oh, I did a post on the first season of this show, but it looks like the outfits get even better with the second! I wouldn't mind having any of those pieces in my closet! I'll have to figure out when this airs in the US, because I think we might get it later?

    1. I think you do get it later. I know that quite a few Americans have stated on the Bomb Girls Facebook page that they are quite disappointed that it airs later. You could always look online for it though. :)

    1. Oh wow haha, I wasn't even aware that Global was a part of BBC. Well now I can see why I like the show so much!

  3. I love Bomb Girls, although I admit I mainly watch it for the clothes! My mom tells me that my Grandmother actually was a bomb girl (working in Ontario) during WW2, which I thought is pretty neat :)
