New Hair and Recent Purchases

Hello again! I completely forgot to mention yesterday that I also got my hair cut.  I am still not too sure if I like it yet, considering I still am not sure how to curl it. It now feels so much healthier though, which is quite nice.

Here is a photo of it the day after I got it cut. I was slightly inspired by Grace Kelly with this new haircut, though I did want it a bit shorter. I asked for a chin length bob and I find it suits me quite well. It is also quite nice because when I'm wearing it straight, I think it looks quite 60's.

Off of that topic, here are some purchases I made in the past few weeks I thought you may be interested in.

I found this 1940's black dress with dazzling green buttons for $20. It does have quite a few fade marks on it, but I still absolutely love it.
I believe this nightgown was $6, and is from the 1960's.

I got this dress for $2 at Value Village. What a deal! I suspect it is hand made from the early 1960's or so.

That is all for today, thank you for reading! :)

  1. So jealous of your $2 dress! I love when that happens, but it's so rare!

    1. Also, you look adorable with your haircut!!

    2. Thank you haha! Yes, it is always extremely exciting when you find things that fit you for only a few dollars.

  2. I am anxious to see how you style it. The cut looks good on you.

    1. Thank you! :)
I think that I will try pin curling it eventually, once I have enough time to try it.
